I am working with schools opening the children's minds to the wonderfulness of chocolate and how eating small amounts of good quality chocolate can produce utter satiety and not the side effects of cheaper quality chocolate with sugar rushes, nausea, hyperactivity and of course inevitable weight gain. 

Session include:

  • Locating the cocoa producing countries (Central and South America, Africa and some of the small Caribbean islands) with the use of maps.
  • A little bit about the cocoa tree, its fruit (showing illustrations of the various species) and the importance of the environment to protect it.
  • A concise and stimulating history of how cocoa was originally used and the development along the way to produce the diversity of chocolate as we know it today.
  • The benefits from consuming a small piece of pure high quality chocolate.
  • Tasting in most cases up to three types of chocolate with differing cocoa percentages, originating from a range of countries and cocoa beans and being processed by different chocolate houses.
  • Each child is given a gift wrapped bespoke truffle to take home.
